Created in 1987 with only six great pandas saved in their biotope, the Base has today more than 70 giant pandas.  They were not removed in the wild. They proliferate on site, what show the commitment of the Base to participate to the conservation in situ .

It was the chance to pass a half day in the Base, far away from our native country. Jérôme guided us in the Base giving us explanations.
